I am proud to say that I managed to get the Camry inspected today. Yes, it was 2 days expired, and yes I drove it illegally today, and yes I had to wait for 2 hours in my car with Alana...but the point is I GOT it done and even more so, we passed without having to buy new tires or brakes!
On a much more serious note-
Alana LOVES the show Caillou on PBS. We have just about every episode on dvd, but for whatever reason she likes to watch it when it is on tv, real time. So today we rushed home from the inspection station so she could eat some lunch and watch Caillou...Unluckily for me, it was not on during its regularly scheduled slot of 12:30. I don't have the DVR anymore, so if we miss it we miss it. Alana was having a meltdown (this takes very little these days) and so I decided to look it up online and see when it was going to come on, so I could give her something to look forward to. How do I break it to her that Caillou has ultimately been replaced by "Sid the Science Kid". Now Caillou is only on the PBS Sprout channel, which we no longer get. So yeah...Not a big deal, but she thinks it is!
We have had THE most beautiful weather over the past few days. We're talking 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. I feel almost guilty, considering all the hurricanes and tropical storms taking over the south. I guess I will just embrace it while it last. Fall is upon us...and it is (sigh) my most favorite season of all.
Well, I am just rambling here. I'm going to post again soon with a video of Alana singing her new favorite song. It's just too cute to pass up.
Peace, Love and safe cars.

Good to hear that you were able to get the inspection done! It's always a relief to know you won't need more work done on it. That reminds me that I need to see about getting my windshield replace. I have to get my safety done by the end of Sept. Funny, I haven't received my notice yet. It usually comes by now.
Alana will ultimately be fine once she adjusts to the fact that her show isn't on anymore. Maybe you could just put the show on the same time everyday to keep the routine if she wants. "Sid the Science Kid", huh? LOL I guess I'm out of the PBS loop anymore.
It was chilly here last night, but is a gorgeous day here today. Of course, when I went to see Dylan, it had to pour rain and it was outdoors. LOL
Definitely looking forward to seeing the video. :)
