An Open Letter.

To the IDIOTS who tried to break into my mom's house tonight...

Thanks for nothing.  First of all, I'm guessing no one in my family will be getting much rest tonight.  What did you want, her nice tv?  Well I don't guess you'll be watching much of anything when you are wasting away in that jail cell.  Where did you get off being so ballsy to want to break down the door, knowing she is sitting just inches away?  Unfortunately for you, what you didn't know is that she has amazing neighbors who not only kept you from succeeding in whatever moronic plan you had....but they also saved her from getting hurt.  I bet you are slapping yourself right about now for picking the wrong house to mess with.

Now, to Cindy, Mark, Smyrna 911 dispatchers and Jonathan...

Thanks for everything.  It's never good to get a call in the middle of the night, followed by a text that says "CALL ME"...but I'm glad to know that in this sick world we live in there are good, selfless people that do right.  Without each of you, there's no telling what could have gone down tonight.  And because of quick thinking, at least one of these jerks is in jail tonight.  I hate being so far away, but I'm glad to know there are people there that can and will take care of my mom (although, trust me, she is quite capable).

Last but certainly not least...

Thank you, Jesus, for protecting my mom...My best friend, the person that gave me life, and who I don't know what I'd do without.  Keep Your hands around us all...

Peace, Love and Pepper Spray.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that happened. It's never a good thing when someone is that bold to try something not certain if the house isn't empty. I am so glad that good people intervened! Even better that someone was caught!!!
Such people always take away far more than belongings. One likes to at least have the illusion that they are secure in their own home. But thanks to good neighbors, it looks like she can be a little more secure, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

Really glad to hear she is o.k. That sort of thing is soooooo unnerving!! :(

I hope the guy responsible gets an appropriate sentence.
